February Meeting

For those of you who didn't know, our Feb meeting was cancelled. That lovely snow and ice was awful... So, we will be exchanging round 1 of the row-by-row at the March meeting. The March meeting will be the first of our all day sews. We'll give it a try and find out if it works. I hope you can make it!!!

Monthly sampler and Row by row

I figured that I would post some information for those who were doing the sampler for 2008. We got our patterns and fabric in January. This should work up farily quickly each month. I think figuring out which fabrics to use is going to be the hardest part. If you still want to participate, we can make it happen.

For those of us doing the row-by-row, we will start exchanging at the February meeting. Be sure that you bring your completed row and fabrics in a brown paper bag. I'll bring some extras in case someone needs one. We have also decided that each person will add some fabric to the bag each month. When you work on someone else's project, it's nice for them to have some extra of the fabrics. That way they can add on as they wish. It doesn't have to be a lot, we thought a minimum of a fat quarter would work.

Welcome to 2008 KSPP

Hello online world! We at KSPP are going world-wide!!! I thought this would be a wonderful way of keeping our members posted on what was going on with our group. Also, we might find out that there are other quilters out there who would like to particpate in online posting to us. So, I'm pleased to announce that we are up and running!
